Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time
- Please make any enquiries using the Contact Form on this website
- Please use the Booking Form to book your place in the class. An email will then be sent to you to confirm that a place is available
- By submitting the booking form and/or making payment, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions
- Full payment is to be received within 5 days following the submission of your booking form, and no later than 14 days prior to the date of the class. Failure to do so will result in your place being made available again to the general public
- Once payment is received it is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a class, you may transfer to another date provided 48 hours notice is given; however you should aim to give as much notice as possible so that VSC can try to fill your place. Those giving less than 48 hours notice will not have the opportunity to transfer their place. This is due the ingredients/equipment already being purchased and prepared, and your place being reserved in your name. Booking a new class is subject to availability. By making payment you are agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions
- If you fail to attend the class your payment will not be refunded and you will not have the opportunity to transfer to another class
- In the unlikely event that Jennie is unable to attend a class, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a different class time
- Children under 16 years of age are unable to attend the adult classes
- Parent/child classes are open to children from the ages of 5 to 15, and adults aged 16+
- All classes require a minimum of 4 students to attend otherwise the class will be cancelled. If this occurs you will receive a full refund or you can transfer to another class that has available places (*see notes relating to gift vouchers below)
- We reserve the right to change the venue of the location however will attempt to avoid this as much as possible. If you are unable to attend the new venue, you must advise us no less than 24 hours before the class and you will receive a full refund
- Photographs may be taken during the class and used on this website, Facebook and/or Twitter. Please state on the
form if you do not wish your photographs to be published on these sites. If you do not request this, it will be assumed you are content for your photo to be used
- Cake decorating may require the use of utensils so there may be a risk of accidents. All event participants will
receive a short briefing on health and safety before commencing at the event. We accept no liability for personal injury, or any loss of or damage to personal property. We have a strict no smoking policy.
- We reserve the right to ask any participant to leave without reimbursement of fees if their behaviour is unsafe or unreasonable in any way.
- Full copyright of event content developed by Vanilla Sky Cakes is retained by Vanilla Sky Cakes. Event notes and reference materials are provided to support attendees in their ongoing development and is issued for personal use only.
- Equipment used is the property of Vanilla Sky Cakes and should not be removed from the class. A full inventory will be taken before and after each class, and any missing items will be reported
- Notes can be taken throughout the class so please bring your own pad and pen if you wish to do so; some handouts will be made available to you
- Vanilla Sky Cakes will not be held responsible or liable for your travel to and from the venue, or any accommodation you require as a result of attending the class
Payment
- You can pay for the classes using the Paypal links through this website. Please note that you do not need to
have a Paypal account to make this payment as they accept most credit/debit cards
- You can send payment through your Paypal account to [email protected]
- Cash payments are accepted

- Cheques and postal orders are not accepted
- Gift vouchers can be purchased for classes. Please note that gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a cash substitute. If a class is cancelled you can transfer your place to the next class - refunds are not available for gift vouchers. Subsequent classes are subject to the terms and conditions stated above.
